ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
REGISTRATION COST
The cost to register your child for football is $425 for new players and $400 for returning players ($20 per player discount for each additional family member).
​
No money will be collected if you join the waitlist. The cost would be due if your child is able to be put on a roster.
ADDITIONAL FINANCIAL COMMITMENTS
There are a few additional financial commitments other than the registration cost. These will be due at equipment handout.
- Commitment Deposit: $300 per family (will be returned at the end of the season if all commitments were completed). Beginning in 2025, we are offering an option to proactively buyout your volunteer commitments. These buyouts cost $300 for four commitments or $500 for eight commitments. If you participate in the commitment buyout (which will be honored in the order in which they were requested), your $300.00 or $500.00 check will be immediately cashed. Upon successful collection of the funds, you will be released from volunteer commitments for the 2025 season.
- Equipment Deposit: $100 per player (will be returned at the end of the season if all equipment is returned in good, clean condition). If the replacement/repair cost of damaged or non-returned equipment exceeds the $100 equipment deposit, the athlete’s commitment deposit check will be cashed. If the amount exceeds the value of those two checks, the athlete’s family will be required to pay the balance.
- Raffle Ticket Fundraiser: $100 for first book of 10 tickets, $50 for each book after (minimum 1 book per family) (Families may choose to sell the raffle tickets at $10 each in order to recoup the money paid)
EQUIPMENT
The football equipment that the Macomb Mustangs provide include - helmet, shoulder pads, pants, belt, and knee pads.

Additional required equipment that will be the family's responsibility to purchase on their own include - girdle, cleats, mouth guard, and cup. Some recommended or optional equipment may include a padded undershirt, practice jersey, gloves, and concussion cap.
PRACTICES AND GAMES
The Mustangs' practice field is at Macomb Town Center Park (54111 Broughton Rd., Macomb, MI 48042).

The Mustangs' home game field is at either Dakota High School (21501 21 Mile Rd., Macomb, MI 48044) or De La Salle Collegiate High School (14600 Common Rd., Warren, MI 48088).
​
Away games are played at various MYFCC organization fields; most are within an hour of the Mustangs home fields. MYFCC sets the season schedule and it will be distributed when it is received.
