Cheerleading Notes:

2008 Update!
    This year the registration fee for cheerleaders has gone up from $145.00 to $155.00. In past years, cheerleaders used the uniform and warm-ups for the season, then turned them in at the end of the year. Cheerleaders only kept the body suit, spankies, socks and Spirit Day t-shirts.

    This season, cheerleaders will be trying on warm-up hoodies and sweatpants at registration, and we will be ordering these to fit the girls. We will be putting the cheerleaders last names on the hoodies, and the cheerleaders will get to keep these warm up sweats at the end of the season. This is a $38.00 value per cheerleader, and these sweats look great! I will be wearing a set of them at registration so you can check them out.

    Additionally, I will have order forms for these sweatsuits, in case any of you cheer parents might be interested in purchasing either the hoodie or the sweatpants for yourself.

    Finally, Signature Sports, who is preparing most of our Mustang merchandise this season, has Nike cheer shoes available for $36.00. I will have order forms for these shoes at registration, also. These are not mandatory shoes, but Signature was kind enough to offer them at a discounted price. I require cheerleaders to wear a solid white leather shoe with good arch support.

What to Wear and Bring to Practice

Cheerleaders should wear:

Gym Clothes, no denim shorts or skirts
Sneakers, a different pair from your Game Shoes
No Earrings or Jewelry. If you must wear stud earrings due to recent piercing, they have to be taped.
Bring plenty of water - recommended 64oz. per child
